Mesmerising Milano.

So as I’m typing this I’m in the beautiful city of Milano and am loving life.

This is the second time I’ve been here, the last time on the famous MXP – JFK trip which I have yet to blog about but will do soon I promise. Lucky for me I got pulled off home stand by for the same trip again but titis time operating as a business class crew. So many stories I wish I could share with you really. Hehe.

For those of you who don’t know this trip is one of the crew favourites as we spend twenty hour hours in Milan, fly to New York the next day, spend around twenty seven hours there, fly back to Milan again for one day then come back home to Dubai with our bags full of shopping and our bellies stuffed with pasta.

Italy has always been the number one place my Dad and I have always wanted to visit since I was a kid and we made a promise to travel here together one day so I always miss him so much when I come here.

As a city full of culture, religion and tradition, Milan is a historical yet magical place full of life and magnificent views that is a much capture moment to take home with you.

Im sure you have all like me heard that Milan is the city of fashion and boy were they right. When you first arrive into the city you will instantly see the locals that are dressed in high class shits and smart and casual attire, with the women going that extra step, carrying around designer handbags and wearing beautifully coloured blazers and jackets.

I love the fashion sense of the people here and they really do make the effort to look good.

The crew and I walked around searching for a simple place to have some quality Italian food and the ‘Ristorante’ certainly delivered. I ordered a simple Funghi Risotto and I devoured it like a fat boy eating chocolate cake.

There is nothing like the Italian food here, not surprisingly I guess but honestly I recommend visiting Italy for the food alone.

Next up we visited the famous Duomo Cathedral as one of the girls hadn’t seen it yet.

A quick history lesson on this beauty, it stands as the worlds fourth largest cathedral and boasts mesmerising design and white marble exterior. I myself am not Christian, but I couldn’t deny how overwhelmed I felt when I looked upon this amazing masterpiece.

White and spectacular as always we took some quick photos and headed down to the shopping district to empty our wallets.

The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele ll is one of the worlds most famous shopping area and the interior will take you to ‘ a whole new world ‘, so to speak.

I won’t even try to explain how it looks from the inside because my words will not do it justice, I will just show you instead. Hosting shops like Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Prada and Massimo Dutti this place is not for the light hearted, I did however enjoy people watching as I took in my surroundings.

Milan really is what they say it is and more and one day soon I will be back with my Dad to share our adventures with you. To finish off here is a snap chat of the crew and I on this trip. Safe flying everyone!
