Yes, thats right I’m back in the land of smiles once again!
I initially had a Phuket flight but decided to swap it because honestly my groceries are more important than anything and its more convenient in Bangkok to get everything that I want to bring back to Dubai.
I was lucky enough to fly with two lovely Thai crew, Praew and Naan and they really made my trip so enjoyable. We also had a Thai ex crew Becky who had just recently resigned and was leaving Dubai officially on our flight to move back to Bangkok. She is a follower of mine on Instagram and so was very excited to meet us and take photos.
When we arrived into Bangkok I ordered my usual Tom Kha soup with only mushrooms, and had a four hour nap before waking up and going to the fresh market down the road of the hotel.
It wasn’t yet raining and so I got my mangoes and guava and just as the rain started I stepped into a small hairdresser to get my haircut, I had been meaning to cut it for so long and so I’m so happy I finally did.
The rest of the day was spent walking with wet sandals in the rain doing my other errands and I ended my night with a two hour hot oil massage and facial before running back to the hotel to sleep before our extremely early wake up.
The flight back was on the new and improved Airbus A380, 2 Class and so it was very exciting not only for the passengers but for the cabin crew as well. The lounge is absolutely stunning and everyone had such an amazing flight back.
I met some wonderful people on this flight from fellow Thai business women to two international school teachers who were moving from Bangkok to Saudi Arabia to live and teach in a school there.
It really made my day to speak and get to know these people and it just made me realise once again how big and beautiful the world really is.
