I came onboard the amazing Emirates Airbus, A380 and was extremely excited to be operating a thirteen hour flight to my all time favourite destination … New York City.
Something about this city always seems to call me back to it, the colours, the vibe, the FOOD, and most of all the Broadway!
So far I have seen:
Aladdin, ( 3 times )
The Lion King
Anastasia
Les Miserables
The Phantom of the Opera
The Colour Purple
Mamma Mia
Spring Awakening
An American in Paris
Before flying to New York I booked Anastasia as I knew that it was definitely something I wanted to do and I got amazing seats in Orchestra.
Once I arrived I slept for seven hours as we landed at night and the next morning I woke up bright and early to walk down to Times Square to visit the magical Disney Store.
I wanted to get my friends son back in Egypt some Moana gifts as he is in love with her and I am in love with him. Seriously though he is the apple of my eye.

Isn’t he just beautiful? Mashallahhh.
After that I strolled around the side streets and had a quick Matcha Latte at Bibble and Sip and went to Totto Ramen for a big bowl of delicious ramen noodles.
I was on my way to Whole Foods and suddenly found myself inside a huge Coach store.
I wonder how I managed to get in there?
Coach has this new thing where you choose your favourite bag and then you can design and play with how it looks like yourself. I chose some cute little flowers and got my name engraved on my first ever Coach handbag!
That night I headed to Anastasia and guys let me tell you it is just as magical as it seems!
That feeling I get when I leave the theatre is like nothing else, and I can’t wait to go back again to watch something else!
Early the next morning before wake up I want to the Top of the Rock as I’d been meaning to go for quite some time now and wow it was even better than I imagined.
There is three levels you can visit, but because I was short on time I just went straight to the top floor as it is an open view point without the glass barrier.
The view from up there is endless and I really wish I had more time to take in the beauty of my surroundings. You can see the whole of Manhattan and it really is a must do on your next visit to New York.
Just a quick tip though, make sure you book ahead of time because slots get taken super fast and arrive on time, but not too early as they’ll just politely turn you away.
Our flight back to Dubai was a quick eleven hours and forty five minutes and it was such a good flight as I was flying with my friend Alyson and it just so happened to be her birthday so we celebrated with some scrumptious macarons that I got her!
Meanwhile after this New York flight MA have been in Dubai spending time with my best friends and enjoying this time away from the skies.
Until next time, stay safe everyone!
So glad to hear how much you love New York – love all of your pics as always! You remind me how lucky I am to live here despite my frustration with crowded subways :).
Great photos! I love New York too, it’s such a vibrant city…
